You have GOT to be kidding me.

Mission Hospital in #Asheville snagged the 95 extra beds the state was awarding to the area, even after countless failures of HCA to effectively run this system.

We had 3 other systems vying for these beds, and at least 100 people at the community meeting when we got to talk about which group should be awarded the beds.

This is the worst possible outcome.

Unlikely, I think. My mind is completely boggled.

The HCA reps at that meeting said their hospital was always 115% full, and they needed more beds. Well, if they would^%$# staff enough, it probably wouldn't be so full, and people wouldn't be afraid to go there!

I am shocked the state did this, after 4 immediate jeopardy rulings.
