Planetarium table clock, circa 1770. French astronomer Nicole-Reine Lepaute built it with her clockmaker husband. She famously calculated Halley's Comet return for 1759 alongside Jérôme Lalande. This mechanical gem shows planets and stars in motion. Pure genius!

@Adrenochrome A beautiful example of female genius in science. Well chosen, too. Because today America is going to the moon again. Last time, at least five women played a key role in that, but that remained out of the spotlight.
