Lets’ Rethink Housing – I’m not alone

So as part of my Let's Rethink series I had a ponder about the UK Housing market and what is causing it to stagnate, at the end of that I proposed the invention of a new investment vehicle to help drive building and increase the housing stock. Today (1st April 2026), the Government announced the National Housing Bank - I have checked and it wasn't an April Fools joke.
