What's a productivity habit you've tried that turned out to be total nonsense?

For me, it turned out to be the weekly review.
Not that it was complete nonsense, but it turned out to be stress-inducing.
I found that if I looked out the “Review" tab in Omnifocus whenever I had a few spare minutes, it worked out much better. Waiting to kill my Sunday evening of fun was not really a good answer.
Greg Newman@sergio_101 If I feel clear and calm at the end of the review, that gauges success. The review itself is often uncomfortable and means things are out of line.
My biggest is only one next action for each project. Not 5 or 10. Just the one thing to get me moving on it.
i just looked at your profile. I see you use #react. I just came back to #django maybe a year or two ago.
Do you find that #react and #django are a natural fit? I have kinda shied away from react, just because i thought the learning curve might be a bit much.
I did several big projects with #elixir / #phoenix , and i REALLY liked the #LiveView approach. I am not sure if there is a such a thing in Django world.
Funny enough, i have a note in my future bin to go down this rabbit hole
@sergio_101 I've worked with react for a long time now. It all depends on the scope of the project. For most things these days I find HTMX a better fit.
