These armwarmers have a striking ribbed pattern that radiates out from the inside forearm and converges on the outside forearm. The thumb shaping grows cunningly out of the radiating ribs.

@gusseting aww thank you! I've knitted a few pairs of these over the years. my faves are the shorter ones that just cover the wrists rather than going most of the way to the elbows

I went to textiles school and learnt how to machine knit. A friend who also went makes and sells naturally dyed pure wool machine knitted mitts with a more intricate machine stitch pattern. Need to go pay her a visit, and get a pair :)
