During the British invasion of #Tibet, an outmatched Tibetan force using antiquated matchlock muskets refused to be disarmed & ran on #ThisDayInHistory in 1904. The British expedition opened fire with #Maxim machine guns, massacring ~700 of them without taking a single fatality.
