Yes and no. Yes, Turkey is just expansionist and Erdoğan is a hypocritical douche.
But Greece has been deepening military cooperation with isntreal, and there are trilateral agreements for "security". Greece has shown interest in jointly developing weapons with "israel".

The British bases on Cyprus have been extensively used for spying, weapons transport and aggression on the region, and have been targeted multiple times as a result.

Turkey is no angel, they've been extensively profiteering on the genocide. The changes come from realising they're the next Iran.
The difference between Greece and Cyprus is hypocrisy. Greece caused or provided the excuse for the split, the island was invaded by both as the "3rd neutral colonial power was moving out" and had to remain as independent to defend against the occupied part by Turkey. In reality it is Greece and Turkey meeting on the island with the US pulling their ears on what to do and what not to do. Brits have a tradition of leaving a few centuries of civil wars after being done exploiting and killing. (need I mention examples?)
Greece was also the first place in Europe the PLO (Palestine) had an office and diplomatic relations, the ties with #Isreael are recent and are designed and controlled in Washington. Just a few years back Israel had ties and developing weapons with Turkey. The Turkish lobby in Washington is one of the most powerful national lobbies, there is no such thing as Greek lobby, it is a joke of right wing opportunists making fuss for their own pockets and careers.
Greece is way more bankrupt than Turkey, but the difference is that Turkey can control to a reasonable amount its own economy. Greece is just like hilly Kentucky or W.Virginia of Europe. How, why?
