The Purpose Of a System Is What It Does
DrALJONESYes. However, each component of an interrelated system (US-Israel) has its own purpose.
And yet somehow the outcome of the overall system is as intended by those who implemented the interrelated components of the black box that is the overall system.
It's not a black box; it's not a black & white issue. Complex systems can be broken down for analysis.
Unless we analyse the components, we can't tell whose purpose is uppermost at any given time. That means we can't tell how the system is functioning.
Only if we understand the dynamics among the components can we tell if & when the system is about to implode. Or not. Or how far off. Etc etc
Perhaps. But really everything seems to be going Putin's way right now. And analyzing all those multi-colored boxes might take more time than we have left ...

Great. So what is the purpose of the system that results from all those pieces that have already been analyzed?
