It's already far too much money for an out of control agency like ICE, which is despised by most of America.

@georgetakei

Hold on a sec.
I thought the "normal" budget was just over 100 MILLION, not billion, until that bogus budget bill passed.
Might look this up later.
The bb-bill gave them 74 billion additional funds spread out over a couple years for ICE.

Nuts that we taxpayers would spend that kind of money on immigration. Who does that?
Nobody. Not even us. That money is for an executive branch army. Immigration is the distraction 4 training & building up of that army under the control of goons.

@MrBranch40 @georgetakei

Trump’s executive branch army is too big, too well financed, and too well armed to ever stand down willingly. It’ll take some ā€œpersuasion". I hope that those in the milotary remember their oath and join us, but even if they don’t, fear not. Just count heads.

ā€œDo not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.ā€ (2 Kings 6:16)

@LevZadov @georgetakei

Hopefully it does not come down to "us or them".

The citizens of the United States of America are also well armed with more guns per capita than any other nation.

This would be Americans vs Americans and this kind of fight is generally frowned upon.

For the moment, the fight is with the courts and our midterm elections on November third.

Writing to congress & showing up & networking & correcting lies at every opportunity also keep the iron hot.

@MrBranch40 @georgetakei

(1.) I take it that you assume there will even *be* midterm elections and they wil be fair and honest. That would be better than what’s more likely to happen.

(2.) Th state is not the government. The state is a tool of the government and not their only one.. The government, the *real* government is the oligarchs, the banks, the hedge funds, the military-industrial complex, the insurance industry, big oil, big pharma, the corporate mediia, organized religion, and organized crime. They, not politicians, are our real rulers, the entities that make the decisions that people obey. The state is merely their facilitator.

(3.) Don’t appeal to politicians’ better nature. They have none. They say they do, but it’s class-A lies. Writing to them is a waste of time. They don’t represent us. They represent their donors. How many millions did *you* donate? None? Then your hopes and fears aren’t even on their radar. Don’t beg them, to attend to our fates, force them. #GeneralStrike, start today. It’s our only hope for a peaceful transition to a fair and sustainable economy.

(4.) The only alternative is violence. We realy don’t want that. #CivilWar2 wouldn't be fought between states or regions. It would be fought between neighbors. It would be a bloodbath. It would also be America's national suicide. The world would pick our bones and we'd deserve it. A lot of people think we deserve it already.

@LevZadov @georgetakei

I missed some of this in civics class, back in the day.

@MrBranch40 @georgetakei

They don’t teach it in civics class. There’s a reason for that: Ignorance is Strength.
