[P] I have spent some time wondering whether the sociopathy room is a coping mechanism neurotypicals have. I've gone back and forth on this because it could be the most pathological coping mechanism in existence, but then again, neurotypicals enjoy the creation of strange otherness just to murder it in the bloodiest, cruellest way conceivable. The limping and crying of beasts in Monster Hunter, et al.

[P] The sociopathy room is an awful, horrible thing and the sickness that sits at the core of the neurotypical human condition. As I said, Omelas is an open condemnation of the sociopathy room, read it again and you'll understand. All human horribleness throughout history, including mechanisms like the just-world fallacy, are all built atop the sociopathy room. It needs to be recognised as a pathology.
