@CaptMikeYates Rush also passes the "Were they influential enough to have a pinball machine made of them" test for bands!

Rush - Stern Pinball

Stern Pinball -
@apzpins Did Deep Purple ever get a pinball machine named after them? I'd kill to play one of them.
@CaptMikeYates No, and it's a great shame as some, like GnR have gotten 2 games made of them.

@apzpins That really irritates me. Purple made me cry with joy. GnR were just shite. I know which of the two deserve multiple pinball machines.

Black Sabbath deserve one as well. That said, Sharon Osbourne would probably ruin it.

GnR pinball machine - powers up 2 hours after being switched on. Issues new ball if it can be arsed. Occasionally plays incredibly well. More likely to play and sound shit.

@CaptMikeYates I've heard rumors that Black Sabbath (or just Ozzy) was supposed to surface, but something went very wrong behind the scenes.

Of GnR, the JJP game is just pure shit. It's an expensive, poorly built machine that is nothing but uninspiring multiball and it gives me absolutely no joy to play it. The 90s Data-East was a lot more enjoyable in all of its modern day questionable design choices, like a video mode where you're supposed to run over pedestrians.

@apzpins I'd love to see and play a Tony Iommi pinball machine. That would seriously rock - all eras of Sabbath, his works with Glenn Hughes and Ian Gillan and the mighty Heaven and Hell.

The Godfather of Metal, the Riffmeister deserves one.

Amen. Here endeth the lesson 🤘🏻
