On deck with one of dad’s mugs: a mug he picked up years ago featuring the nose art for a four engine Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress named Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby after the song by The Andrews Sisters. It flew 23 combat missions against Nazi targets during WW2 and was on display at the U.S. Air Force Museum in Ohio for years and is now at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. After my dad died in June of last year, mom gave me this mug and a few others dad had.
