NorriNorri has higher requirements than most media servers. PostgreSQL, a dedicated GPU or decent iGPU for transcoding, solid hardware.
Not because there was no lighter path. The aim is the best performance and experience for serious collections - not minimizing what it takes to run.
If you've got a serious media library, you've got the hardware. Norri is built to use it properly.
