La 27enne di Minsk, dunque, si conferma detentrice del titolo con la "ciliegina" del "Sunshine Double", diventando la quinta giocatrice di sempre a centrare l'accoppiata Indian Wells-Miami. Per la bielorussa è il terzo titolo del 2026 (il 23esimo in carriera su 43 finali), dopo i trionfi a Brisbane e Indian Wells.

Sabalenka defeated American Coco Gauff, the fourth seed, in the final with a score of 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 in a match lasting 2 hours and 11 minutes. The 27-year-old from Minsk thus confirms her title as the holder with the “icing on the cake” of the “Sunshine Double”, becoming the fifth player of all time to achieve the Indian Wells-Miami double. It is the Belarusian’s third title of 2026 (the 23rd in her career out of 43 finals), after victories in Brisbane and Indian Wells.
