ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Giuseppe Tango è il nuovo presidente dell'Anm. Tango è stato eletto con 31 voti a favore e un astenuto dal Comitato direttivo centrale dell'Associazione nazionale magistrati che oggi ha visto formalizzate le dimissioni di Cesare Parodi. Giudice del lavoro a Palermo Tango, 43 anni, è esponente di Magistratura indipendente. “Non posso che ringraziare tutti voi, tutti i componenti del Comitato direttivo centrale: avete scelto di riporre la vostra fiducia in me, e mi impegnerò sino in fondo per non deluderla, in alcun modo”, ha detto Tango, appena eletto presidente dell'Anm. Il giudice palermitano ha ringraziato il suo predecessore, Cesare Parodi, “per la sua instancabile opera e per il tratto umano con cui ha condotto l'Anm” prima di assicurare che “da domani ci metteremo tutti al lavoro, insieme agli altri attori della giurisdizione, per proporre soluzioni che possano davvero migliorare la giustizia, che ha problemi di cui siamo ben consapevoli perchè li viviamo quotidianamente: sempre a beneficio dei cittadini, riannodando se possibile i nodi di un autentico dialogo con l'interlocutore politico”. “Non vorrei sbagliarmi, ma credo di essere il primo palermitano a essere nominato alla presidenza nazionale dell'Anm: questo mi inorgoglisce oltremodo da un lato, dall'altro sento ancora di più la responsabilità di rappresentare quella magistratura che, da sempre, ha saputo costruire, grazie ai suoi illustri esponenti, un rapporto di forte fiducia con la società civile, finanche nei momenti più drammatici della nostra storia. Di questa fiducia – conclude Tango – noi tutti dobbiamo dimostrare di essere all'altezza”.

ROME (ITALPRESS) – Giuseppe Tango is the new president of the Anm. Tango was elected with 31 votes in favor and one abstention by the Central Executive Committee of the National Association of Magistrates, which today saw the formal resignations of Cesare Parodi. A judge at the Labor Court in Palermo, Tango, 43, is a member of Independent Judiciary. “I can only thank you all, all the members of the Central Executive Committee: you have chosen to place your trust in me, and I will do everything possible to not disappoint you, in any way,” Tango said, immediately after being elected president of the Anm. The Palermo judge thanked his predecessor, Cesare Parodi, “for his tireless work and for the human touch with which he led the Anm” before assuring that “from tomorrow we will all get to work, together with the other actors in the judicial system, to propose solutions that can truly improve the justice system, which has problems of which we are well aware because we experience them daily: always for the benefit of citizens, reconnecting, if possible, the knots of an authentic dialogue with the political interlocutor.” “I would not want to be wrong, but I believe I am the first Palermo native to be appointed to the presidency of the Anm: this delights me on one hand, but I feel even more the responsibility of representing that judiciary that, from time immemorial, has been able to build, thanks to its illustrious members, a relationship of strong trust with civil society, even in the most dramatic moments of our history.
