The US was a leader in the vile #eugenics movement, and on #ThisDayInHistory in 1978 the #SCOTUS invented #JudicialImmunity for the permanent harm they can do to us. In the failed case a young woman had sued because her mother asked a judge to sterilize her without her knowledge.
