I have finally implemented a speed measurement for the on device subscription of my podcast client „Up Next“. I believe Up Next is still the only client that offers on device transcriptional has done so since the release of iOS27. It also supports feed-provided transcripts in several formats.

No servers no tracking, no subscription, no cost, no business model. Just a podcast player for the community. (And it’s open source)
