Ich überlege gerade einen Blueray Spieler oder eine gebrauchte Konsole zu kaufen.

Worauf muss ich achten, wenn ich die nutzen möchte?

Hab nie eine Konsole davor besessen und kenn mich mit Bluerays nicht aus

@NoRestfortheWicked Ich würde eine PS4 Slim nehmen. Die ist klein, leise und unauffällig. Die PS5 und PS4 Pro sind als reiner Player zu teuer. Vorteil der PS4 ist: du kannst fast alle streaming Dienste darauf nutzen, so du das denn willst. Wenn möglich kauf gebraucht mit Garantie oder lokal von Privat um die vorher zu testen.

@NoRestfortheWicked @thomas Bei Konsolen wird die Bedienung in den meisten Fällen nur per Controller funktionieren, also vielleicht nicht den Komfort einer normalen Fernbedienung bieten.

@fastjack25 @NoRestfortheWicked @thomas I agree and it looks like they're quite affordable nowdays. I've got one for my PS3 and it was somewhat expensive (I think) back then.

@NoRestfortheWicked sorry I don't speak German. If you get a dedicated media player, get one that supports UHD as well (aka Ultra-HD 4K Blu-ray, usually in black cases), possibly also digital media like MKV (matryoshka).
Mine is Reavon UBR-X100, very happy with it.

I also have BD drives for PC use, but the copyright protection is a nightmare with them. Watching your owned discs is a big hassle, wouldn't recommend.

Can't talk about consoles for this use, I only have an old PS3 slim and only used it for BD's once or twice.
