Working on the next version of writerdeckOS (finally!) which replaces the default word processor of Tilde with Wordgrinder.

That said, in case someone wants to use a different word processor, I'm prepackaging it with several command line word processors and text editors such as tilde, wordgrinder, vi, vim, nano, emacs, joe, and....

Word Perfect!!!

Hahaha! Tavis Ormandy released a ported version of Word Perfect for Linux a handful of years ago.

So here's me running Word Perfect in Linux!

@tinker This project is really cool, so I’m glad to see that you’re giving users more editor options. I probably have to actually try this out now that you have a version with emacs.
@leaferiksen - the new version has a better installation process and even liveusb - ill post here when its released (hoping for tomorrow or Monday)
@tinker hmm I’ll play around with this one . Thanks !

@tinker I have fond memories of Wordgrinder. I used it a lot at un around 2010 to take note during courses, logged in a tty. My classmates gave me lots of "wtf are you doing?" looks (not a lot of history students knew linux at that time, let alone cli).

I really like your project and the idea behind it tbh, and this is something I mighr come to use at some point.

@val - Cheers for saying so!
