#VoidLinux is running smoothly. I have to figure out some xorg shutdown related stuff and how to build #LibreWolf on void. Can't wait to remove Firefox again.

But all in all a solid first morning. Got my fido2 hardware tokens to work properly with ssh, keepass and in the browser and my cifs mount works too.

I haven't switched my distribution since I started using #GnuStow to manage my dotfiles. I installed stow, pulled my repo, and everything worked as expected. I love this setup!

Manage your dotfiles using GNU Stow

If you’ve ever struggled to manage your dotfiles across different systems, GNU Stow could be the elegant solution you’ve been looking for. In this post, I explain how using Stow to reorganise my dotfiles made my setup cleaner, more modular and easier to reproduce.

@nestab thx for the link. It decided to just build it myself. Just a trust thing
@lukasrotermund I use this repo to get a librewolf package on my void linux: https://github.com/index-0/librewolf-void

@mdkcore hey thanks :) yeah that's the same repo that I found too, but I don't really trust third party repos from non-maintainers.

I also tried the flatpak, but there are so many permission problems that I gave up on using the flatpak.

The index-o repo is also two versions behind. So I just used the bsys6 binary for now. I tried to build it myself, but I guess I need more then 16GB of memory for that haha...

I'm not really satisfied with the solution yet. It's too sad that void doenst allow browser forks in its repo
