Disappointed at this news and concerned at what the CQC report found.

"Risky business" is something that should not be tolerated. Anything risking patient safety and causing patient harm should be reported and actioned.

I had a few visits to New Cross Hospital for treatment when I lived in Wolverhampton. No complaints from me.

But would I have received the same treatment under the conditions detailed in the report?

It is good that the reported comments from Joe Chadwick-Bell do not try to deflect from what the CQC inspection found. I've seen that distasteful tactic from certain other NHS Trusts.

Although the comment that A&E is "a very busy and often complex department" could be seen as patronising.

The CQC have published their findings. It's down to Mr Chadwick-Bell and his colleagues to put things right. Quickly.
