Bunch of kinda criticisms of Wolf 3D in this piece here, but also some interesting insights on playing one handed by using the mouse with sensitivity turned up fully (and of course using a map). I'm so used to keyboard, but thinking now, when I played it on a Mac in the 90s, I may have messed with using a mouse for it some.

@jake4480 Isn't mouse sensitivity turned all the way up at all times for everything anyway? I don't even game, but I have a G2 cranked all the way, because who has time to flick their wrist all the way over there? Life's too short.
@erik totally, I mean, it is for me, at least. I don't want a nice, slow mouse. I need that cursor to GET. THERE. 😂

@jake4480 I remember playing it this way only. So much so that when we got Doom we remapped the controls to match.

In fact even as late as Half Life my family still used RMB to move forward. Wasn’t till I started playing Counter Strike at Lan Cafes that I picked up WASD.

My dad to this day does the RMB move forward thing.

@anchorite ha! Your dad played too. Yeah it's wild all the different ways we did it. I still hit it up here and there. Doom too.
