This is why I have a hard time ever taking the dippers seriously.
They cheer the clear cutting of 2000 year old forests as long as the it's done by unionized workers. They never stood for anything environmental. They stood for unionized jobs and couldn't care less when polar bears died sucking on our tail pipes so long as unions built those tail pipes.
I always saw the NDP as the other side of the conservative coin. They both wanted to destroy the environment. The difference was only who took home more doing it.
