@[email protected] Ich bin leider nicht reingegangen, weil mir die Schlange am Eingang zu lang war. Wahrscheinlich hätte ich mich drinnen auch erschlagen gefühlt von dem ganzen Pomp. 😅 Aber die Liebe zum Detail und das meisterliche Handwerk muss man schon feiern!

@[email protected] Ja, samstags in der Vorweihnachtszeit war nicht ideal, aber ich hatte nur ein paar Stunden, bis mein Zug fuhr. 😅 Wenn ich mal ein paar Tage länger in München bin, nehm ich das gerne noch mal in Angriff!

It's quite a few years since I visited now, but I remember it as _very_ ornate. Although what I remember the fondest from Munich was to see the mighty wall that are the Alps from a high point on Museuminsel.

Oh, Munich has a Museumsinsel?? I only knew about the one in Berlin, oops! 😅 I'll make a note of that in case the next Christmas party is in Munich again!

Yes but there is only (the main part of) one museum, Deutsches Museum (von Meisterwerken der Naturwissenschaft und Technik). A very nice museum though if one likes that theme :)
