So I'm trying to pick up my classical guitar again and on Saturday I'm joining a classical guitar salon where we are going to practice an (very simple) ensemble for four guitars.

I've spend this last week practicing and it was very clear that it's been three years since I last played, but I think I've got it down well enough to hobble along with others.

A few things I noticed:

1. I really only figured out the right length of my nails when I was truly practicing my rest strokes
2. string numbers on the score is ace
3. A metronome with a different sound for the one really helps me be disciplined
4. I noticed improvement after I skipped practice yesterday
5. I play much better if I'm not hungry
