NBC scorebug: look, yellow for base runners. Yes. Two out dots is bad though. The weird texture on the team logos is comical. At least I can read the player names.
@jsnell I'm not a type person, but surely the kerning on the player names is not at all right…? Do the open circles means there are two outs, or do they fill in when they get an out?
@peternlewis you're right about the kerning- and yes, they fill in the open circles as outs are made
@jsnell the yellow for on base is so much better! I'm ok with 2 dots for outs. If you're watching, the third dot is unnecessary. The two dots gives you all you need to know...next one is it! Texture is a bit weird, but it's fine. Nice size on the text, easier to read than most. This score bug is more than tolerable
@jsnell It’s weird that the balls and strikes are separated from the outs by a frame barrier, but sitting right underneath the peacock logo. Balls and strikes? Good! Peacock logo? Fine! This arrangement, though, is the work of someone who doesn’t know baseball and doesn’t try to find out.
@jsnell we should do a podcast
@tvaziri @jsnell I’ve heard those are going places!
@tvaziri @jsnell @incomparable crossing my fingers for a draft of (bad?) sports broadcast technology
@tvaziri @jsnell if you guys could just clone yourselves, you'd have time to do a podcast together!
@jsnell So what you are saying is thst the text is readable! 😃
@jsnell that background looks like someone chose “tile” instead of “stretch”
@jsnell The only thing I will ever see in this image is a guy on a stationary bike overlooking Dodger Satium.
@jsnell Where’s the stitched leather, you cowards!
@jsnell Interestingly, there doesn’t seem to be anything here for the number of ABS challenges remaining.
