the very first time I used the new meatballs drawer in #Firefox Android, I tapped the quit button instead of the refresh button 👍

my settings have "clear browsing data when quitting" turned on, so in practice I rarely quit unless I want to clear browsing data, so this nuked all my recent history.

maybe if Mozilla wasn't squandering immense resources on AI slop nobody wants, #UXfail like this wouldn't make it to general release.

@deutrino By "meatball drawer" do you mean the bottom panel that awkwardly slides up when you click the three dots menu? If so I agree 100%.

@perishable exactly that. I heard the 3 dots described as a meatball menu a while back and it kinda stuck, although I've also heard it referred to as a kebab menu since then.

@deutrino @perishable In UI terms, it's "meatballs" when the dots are arranged horizontally, and "kebab" when they're arranged vertically.

(Love sharing this niche fact so I couldn't resist chiming in haha.)
