p.s. Because it's federated through the Fediverse, you can follow Manyfold accounts from other Manyfold servers and also from Mastodon etc accounts.

Manyfold is free open source software, and if you're techy you can self-host it using the instructions at https://manyfold.app/get-started/installation

Finally ! 😃 👍
Am not changing right now. I like where i am at. But just followed a minute ago.

Was thinking, what needed so long since 3D printing is like the fediverse. Decentralised production and even creating.

Edit: Just for a start, one of my early remix projects, alienegg to an insect trap lamp.
Downloaded both files from (can't remember😬 ) and changed the alienegg for the light inside.
40cm in height plus the facehugger "lifesized".

@FediTips You should put a comma there. For a second I thought you were suggesting we 3d print people. Lol
@FediTips @manyfold Wait, how does the federation part work? Are Manyfold accounts able to follow Mastodon accounts from their end?
@Nyla_Smokeyface technically you *can*, though it will warn you that probably nothing interesting will happen. Followers on Mastodon etc will see messages for new models and comments, but the following from within Manyfold is really aimed at subscribing to content on other Manyfold instances (or anything else that wants to use our ActivityPub extension for 3d models).
