It makes the wrong party look like they are right, just because they are louder.
The fact that Google, as it seems, keeps blocking (and then reinstating) the initial blog posts, and can do so because they are on blogspot, doesn't help. But court decisions and news coverage are clear !
The only reassuring thing is that the majority of academics who really care and to whom this matters know the truth.
