I had no choice but to do that like five times because the app kept freezing. I’m lucky it even let me click on the comment icon. Even swiping to open the post froze it up.

@lunchb0x_b Can you try restarting your device? You are the first to report this issue and it sounds very weird. Is it only happening with that audio post?

I’m still having issues with pics and videos not always loading though. Even my own do it, so it’s not a server issue.

@lunchb0x_b When you noticed that happening, we recommend checking your instance website at that time to see if the experience is similar. Next step would be to try the official Mastodon app or IceCubes to see if it's happening there. There's really no issues with loading media in Ivory (at least not at this time). If it was an issue in the code, we'd get many reports about it. It's usually something else going on. But we are always happy to try and help troubleshoot the issue as best as we can.

@ivory @lunchb0x_b I had some freezing after upgrading before trying audio, only trying disabling swipe gestures. Did a hard restart of the app and so far so good. Will report if not.

@ivory @lunchb0x_b Got the exact same issue. Restarting the phone didn’t help though.
But I’m excited about audio!

They’re pretty quick about responding and guiding you through steps. Probably one of the best customer services I’ve dealt with. I’ve been following them since Tweetbot 2, I believe. I even have their calculator app. It’s awesome too.

@kolombiken Make sure you are running Ivory v2.5. Either check the bottom of settings or go to the Ivory app store page and look to see if there's an update.

Ivory is set to roll out slowly so you might not see it on the software update page yet.

@kolombiken Got it. It's most likely one of those activitypub quirks where your server no longer has the file cached so you can't play it back anymore.
