@Phracker2Art @ashleyyrain to be fair here my impression from looking at the likes of the elon musks or bill gates of the world .. is that they aren't actually very happy .. i this meant more like basic necessities being met, but also things meant as entertainment, like music, movies, games, etc; or otherwise to be enjoyable are also offered at a fee- so bleh, its nuanced xS
.. i would say that money gives you societal power, and lets you have control over others; and like status, and thats probably what most of the elite is actually after ..
@ashleyyrain @Li @Phracker2Art yeah the money that makes the difference between security, a guaranteed roof and nutritious food, clothing and some leisure time - that is the money that buys happiness. Not after the umpteenth million.
The money that gives you choices and makes you feel less like a complete wage slave who's one bit of bad luck or slightly off choice away from losing everything.
