@tusk81 Australia has “free” healthcare but over time doctors fees have exceeded the Medicare rebate and for non life threatening conditions it is better to have private health insurance to jump the queue. Even private health insurance has an out of pocket cost. That said, the public hospital system is available to all free of charge.

@Lats @tusk81 our system has some big issues. But it's a lot better than some of our peers. But behind some countries we like to think we are better than.
