@Axomamma I'm not certain at this stage, but the adventure begins with a spot of #LactoFermentation.

@Axomamma Green beans, garlic, chilli flakes, and a generous amount of turmeric powder. I'll give it a week or two, before I decide what the next step should be.

[EDIT] I forgot to mention *salt*, which is essential for the process of #LactoFermentation. I added salt at 2% w/w. [/EDIT]

@Axomamma Tasted the #fermented beans this morning, and they are pretty good: not as tough as I had expected. In the fridge is a large jar of mushy fermented tomatoes & cukes (I don't think I used enough salt, so they fermented too quickly). I'm thinking of mixing the beans, the mush, a bunch of sesame seeds, and a generous portion of seaweed (nori?), then drying the lot to make bean jerky...

@Axomamma If it is a fail, I'll grind it up and add it to my perpetual fermented seasoning mix.
