Episode Three: So far, I have been really enjoying Channel 5's Cooper and Fry series. This one is no exception. The third episode involves Diane and Ben investigating the murder of Neil Goodwin (Aidan Moriarty), and as with the previous two episodes, incorporates #CooperAndFry

some intriguing folklore into the central murder mystery.

This time, it's a supernatural cult known as the border rats, described as 'Satan's morris dancers', who represent miners who died many years ago in a fatal accident. The border rats create a deeply #CooperAndFry

effective foreboding tone over proceedings, and the imagery is suitably unsettling.

The case also ties into a missing persons report, concerning a young woman named Emma (Isabelle Harriet). A good way to build up the mystery as the victim, Neil, was rumoured to #CooperAndFry

have been responsible for her disappearance. Of course, this turns out to be a red herring as Emma later turns up, but any good murder mystery crime drama should keep its audience guessing, and Cooper And Fry does this in spades. #CooperAndFry
