Any CRT wizards out there that know what’s wrong that’s making this 1996 GE Spacemaker blurry?

@fufroom I’m not an expert, but I watch a lot of repair videos, and my impression is that this could be a failing flyback transformer.
@arjache @fufroom
I think that's it. I did some searching that agrees with the flyback
@fufroom No idea... Fiddle nobs, is about all I can suggest, but have you tried other input? Like, if there's any chance of hooking something else up, or changing cables, that's probably where I'd start. Like, thinking it could be a signal receipt issue, rather than a display issue.

@fufroom
This is a shot in the dark, I know how CRTs work but have never worked on one.

They use changes in electric fields from deflecting coils to direct the electron beam, and separate coils to focus the beam. I would look at what is downstream from the focusing coils, maybe it's just a bad cap?

Maybe it's more simple and the focusing knob (if you have one) is dirty or broken

@fufroom I think it needs computer glasses
