@todd There literately is nothing like google maps in regards to finding what is around with all sorta updated stuff. Ditching it has been one of the major pain points.

I am using comaps more and more. magic earth is even better for car navigation. Both these are free / near free, using open street map, and these maps have very good quality most places now.

Then of course there is TomTom for car navigation, but it ends up being a bit costy.

And then there is this one, probably well worth checking out.
