@levi
I don't know enough about all the technical stuff to really have a solid opinion. I just feel that move was a move of weakness and couldn't ethically agree with it as I am generally opposed to current age verification stuff.
Other techies also seem to have a dislike for systemd and I don't know why π
If it really is forked though, then I'm happy.
@retrimental I'm happy too
but I'm not waiting, I'm reading about @artixlinux so I can make the switch, OpenRC is a sane option, can't say the same for systemd
@tragivictoria I do realize that #systemd is a component and has no reason to comply in the first place, but since it's a hot mess it has to throw everything in there

Attached: 1 image Not just Ageless Linux.. shoutout to @[email protected] for sticking to the free & open source software principles, I'm making the switch very very soon (to #artix :artix: ) we're living in a time where our current actions dictate what things would be like for the future generations, if you think a local checkbox (are you above 18?) is harmless, you should know that it's not about the checkbox! things become much worse when you comply, next thing: VPNs, next: take a guess! you get the idea #privacy #surveillance #ageverification #linux #systemd #agelesslinux #archlinux #ubuntu #fedora #meme
