Our next #LunchBoxModels #seminar is scheduled for Wednesday (March 25) at 12 CET. Nicolas Loeuille (IEES Paris) will talk about the effects of spatial heterogeneity on eco-evolutionary dynamics (and its implications from a management point of view).

See you at lunch! ๐Ÿ˜Š

A thought that resonated in todayโ€™s #LunchboxModels #seminar with Nicolas Loeuille: donโ€™t consider your peers as competitors. Think about them as companions, collaborators, colleagues, maybe friends. Makes the whole academic journey so much more joyful. โ˜บ๏ธ

Another thought that resonated today: saying no is saying yes. We have to protect our time and energy to be able to focus on the important things. Saying no to XYZ means I can make time for my students, for my teaching, for my next manuscript or for whatever else that helps me to stay motivated.
