Chris Geoghooligan ✊I generally hate the new #iOS26, but I will say I am liking this new #HoldAssist feature. I don't need to listen to horrible, deafening hold music? Yes please.
Although now that I am using it, I'm noticing it plays your ringtone and starts transcribing when the person on the other end starts talking. When you inevitably don't read that because you are scrambling to find the "pick up" button, audio is returned to the phone by default, even if you were using speakerphone, so then you need to press audio > speakerphone, the whole time the person on the other side is saying "Hello? Hellooooooo....."
Great idea. Not quite fully polished.
