Nel frattempo continua la promozione di “Io Canto 2″, l’album appena uscito nella versione spagnola per il mercato latino. Durante il format di Radio Italia “Fuori Tempo”, l’artista ha risposto ad una domanda: “La tua voce ha accompagnato milioni di persone nei momenti più delicati c’è un momento in cui ti sei resa conto davvero di questo legame?”.
“Sono tre in Italia, due ragazze e un ragazzo che erano in coma – ha raccontato Pausini – e tutti e tre si sono risvegliati con le mie canzoni. In un caso è successo mentre io ero lì. Quindi questo ti cambia tutto”.
E ancora: “Quando poi i miei familiari, non il mio babbo, ma tutti gli altri, mi chiedono perché lavoro e basta… Quando vedi una persona che si sveglia perché gli tieni la mano e gli stai cantando una tua canzone, forse lo faresti anche tu”.
In una recente intervista a El Pais la cantante ha dichiarato a proposito del suo ultimi progetto discografico: “Non ho realizzato questo album, ‘Io Canto 2’, per fare soldi. Non ne ho bisogno, ma è ciò di cui ho bisogno per stare bene, per evitare di ricadere in… Non voglio chiamarla depressione, perché non si trattava di una vera e propria depressione con farmaci e tutto il resto, ma ero in uno stato emotivo molto negativo che mi teneva chiusa in casa, e non avevo nemmeno voglia di cantare”.

Laura Pausini is preparing to depart on her world tour, which begins on March 27th in Pamplona, Spain at the Navarra Arena. Meanwhile, she continues to promote “Io Canto 2,” the newly released album in the Spanish version for the Latin market. During the Radio Italia format “Fuori Tempo,” the artist answered a question: “Your voice has accompanied millions of people in their most delicate moments; is there a moment when you truly realized this connection?”
“There are three in Italy, two girls and a boy who were in a coma – Pausini recounted – and all three woke up listening to my songs. In one case it happened while I was there. So that changes everything.”
And she continued: “When then my family, not my dad, but the others, ask me why I work and just… When you see a person waking up because you are holding their hand and singing one of your songs to them, you might do the same yourself.”
In a recent interview with El Pais, the singer stated about her latest album: “I didn’t create this album, ‘Io Canto 2,’ to make money. I don’t need it, but it’s what I need to feel well, to avoid falling back into… I don’t want to call it depression, because it wasn’t a true depression with medication and everything else, but I was in a very negative emotional state that kept me locked in my house, and I didn’t even want to sing.”
