My level of disdain for the Divi WordPress theme has grown exponentially after working on a new page for our company website on Friday & again today [and I'm not even close to done]. And my disdain level was high before this. 🤐

I'm a developer. A programmer. You have me using a theme with a proprietary page builder? 🤨

You know why they call it Divi? It's because they wrap everything in multiple <div> tags. Even a simple heading is wrapped in 2 divs. They should have called it Divitis. 🤪

I spent almost my entire morning ... over 4.5 hours ... fighting with both Divi and WordPress - more Divi than WP. I have so much rage in my body right now because it. I wish I had something else I could work on this afternoon, but I don't. Maybe I should take a 2 hour lunch. 😩

Ok ... I took a full hour for lunch (not 2). I opened the curtains in my living room and opened one of the windows. I distracted myself by watching some reality tv that was on my dvr. Hopefully that'll help me make it though an afternoon of more fighting with Divi.
