When the state’s “safety” story was shown to be a lie (more complex crosswalk designs exist just blocks away in a hetero party district & at a homophobic private college) it fell back to calling them “political”. Really? Who politicized how we fuck to gain power? Fortunately, seeing it coming, many #OakLawn joints have started adding rainbows to their property.
