Given sufficient electricity, we can make #Hydrogen in quantity without reforming Methane. The #Oxygen is a probably useful byproduct.
Given heat, pressure, and a catalyst, we can combine it with atmospheric #Nitrogen to make #Ammonia, a direct fertiliser, and starting point for Nitric acid and then #Nitrates. Among #AmmoniumNitrate 's uses is fertiliser for growng food.

I think we might build an Ammonia plant next to a #fission boiler, and use #heat as well as perhaps #electricity from it.

In context, enough electricity means a large excess. Several times what we have now.

Resistance to increase in generation will lead to hunger in this generation and megadeaths in the next from climate damage.

"But we retired here for the view".

@Photo55 We already have lots of cheap renewable electrons. We are just misallocating them onto a JIT grid. There is a better way which I’ve called a virtual wire. A great application for those electrons on the virtual wire is green steel. Couple this with Simon Sharpe’s subsidy and recharge and we could already be there.

@icanbob we (I'm in England) don't have the amount of energy I contemplate, as electricity.
Start with 5 times as much as we currently use.
