Il dato sul referendum che non ti aspetti stavolta arriva da Riace, il comune del sindaco ed europarlamentare di Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra, Mimmo Lucano. Nella cittadina, ritenuta modello per l'immigrazione, vince il Sì. Il 55% degli elettori, infatti, è favorevole alla separazione delle carriere. Soltanto il 44,9% dei votati dice no al cambiamento voluto dal governo. Un vero e proprio flop, quindi, per la sinistra che certamente non si aspettava un risultato così in quella che, da sempre, ritiene un'inespugnabile roccaforte. «In tanti elettori del centrosinistra, riferiscono a quelle latitudini- hanno votato Sì perché scontenti dell'operato amministrativo dei compagni». Ecco perché chi adesso fa la morale sul referendum dovrebbe guardare innanzitutto in casa propria, come dimostra appunto il caso del piccolo comune in provincia di Reggio Calabria.
