1. To you, what does it mean to be okay? Or ok? #writephant
Thee are four levels encompassing “okay” and ok.
The first level is you are… fine. No major happenings or dramatics, but no major victories. It’s homeostasis.
Second level is you don’t want to go into the truth about your life, so you say “I’m okay.”
Third level is needing to ground yourself. When you say “I’m okay,” you say it to yourself. You’re at baseline and not needing adrenaline.
“Ok” is a neutral response to someone else. You don’t agree but are being polite. #writephant

The four levels of okay are . . . deep. Shows a TON of thought.

Did you major in Psych or Sociology?

Sometimes I think my computer background is a real liability . . .

What does it mean (to me) to be okay? Or ok?

First, to me, it ok and okay (and OK and O.K.) are the same. And whichever you choose, use the same one throughout your ENTIRE writing project.

Okay means, you know, 6 - 7. I'm fine. I'm good, but not great, but not bad either. No catastrophes.

It's okay to be okay.

Also, I had never heard of OK Day before today. Thanks for that!
