Agi: Bignami: "Meloni sperava in un risultato diverso ma il voto degli elettori va accettato"

AGI - Il capogruppo di FdI alla Camera Galeazzo Bignami, ai microfoni dello speciale sul referendum sulla giustizia su La7, commenta con queste parole la sconfitta del Sì: "È sempre da accettare il risultato quando gli italiani si esprimono, tanto più con una affluenza elevata, che è sempre positiva. Io conosco Giorgia Meloni da tempo, non ho memoria di una battaglia politica da cui lei si sia sottratta, lei ci mette sempre la faccia. Certamente sperava in risultato diverso". 
La riforma sulla separazione delle carriere - ricorda ancora Bignami - "era un impegno che aveva preso tutto il centrodestra, quindi non si può dire che la vittoria sarebbe stata la nostra e la sconfitta degli altri, avevamo presentato insieme nel 2022 questa proposta, è una proposta unitaria del centrodestra".

La separazione delle carriere dei magistrati "era un provvedimento che avevamo nel programma elettorale" del centrodestra "e avevamo il dovere di portarlo avanti", spiega il capogruppo di FdI che non teme contraccolpi per il governo e la sua maggioranza: "Lo abbiamo detto fin dall'inizio che il referendum non avrebbe inciso sulle sorti del governo".
Il caso Delmastro e il voto referendario
Inevitabile anche una domanda se il caso che in questi giorni ha coinvolto il sottosegretario alla Giustizia di FdI, Andrea Delmastro, possa aver indirizzato la vittoria del No: "Faremo le nostre valutazioni, ma mi sembra complesso dire che la sconfitta del Sì al referendum sia colpa di questa vicenda", chiarisce Bignami.
L'agenda parlamentare e le riforme
Ultima sottolineatura dell'esponente della maggioranza: "Non credo che cambierà la nostra agenda parlamentare (sulle riforme del governo e, in particolare, sulla legge elettorale, ndr) perché, come abbiamo detto fin dall'inizio, le vicende attinenti alla consultazione referendaria erano sganciate".

AGI - The leader of FdI (Fratelli d'Italia) at the Chamber of Deputies, Galeazzo Bignami, speaking on La7's special program on the referendum on justice, commented on the No's victory with these words: “It is always necessary to accept the result when Italians express themselves, especially with a high turnout, which is always positive. I have known Giorgia Meloni for a long time, I have no memory of a political battle from which she withdrew, she always puts her face out there. Certainly she hoped for a different result.”

The reform on the separation of judicial careers - Bignami added - “was a commitment that the center-right had made, so it cannot be said that the victory was ours and the defeat of others, we presented it together in 2022, it is a unified proposal from the center-right.”

Finally, the ruling coalition member emphasized: “I don’t believe that our parliamentary agenda (on the government’s reforms and, in particular, on the electoral law, ed.) will change because, as we have said from the beginning, the events related to the referendum consultation were independent.”
