@ai6yr a great explainer. Sadly the people who need to be reached don’t appear to read these types of articles. It’s been pretty obvious to me, once I got past the FUD of the fossil lobby, that the greenhouse effect was big trouble. We need to be teaching the greenhouse effect and its ramifications in schools, units and trade schools as a matter of urgency! Simply the facts, what the effect is, what causes the imbalance, the current solution-get off fossils and electrify everything. Make mandatory teaching.

I taught the greenhouse effect in schools for more than a decade. But unfortunately the politicians who make decisions are being wined/dined/bribed by oil companies. It's in their interests not to understand.

Politicians are easily corrupted. It’s a world wide problem.

Studies show that more people with better education understand the climate risks and they putting pressure on policymakers. The big group that is missing are the tradespeople. It seems a cultural issue that they lock shields against. Getting in early maybe the only way.
