@motoridersd I’m not proud of this fact, but I usual fast forward past them. I’ve lost enough friends and family to cancer that I require no additional reminders of the horrors of the disease.

@stevegis_ssg @motoridersd Like, if you’re someone whose life hasn’t been much impacted by cancer, those stories are a great eye opener. If, however, you have watched people die from cancer up close, that shit just picks at old wounds.

My friend Supriya was playing a benefit show for a friend of hers who was about to start chemo, and she said from the stage, "Cancer's a bitch. Cancer's a fucking asshole."

I think about that a lot.
