What's your go-to commander when you just want a chill game? Not trying to win fast, just vibing and seeing what happens.

@GrimDeck

I have a Bracket 1 Thurid, Mare of Destiny deck that I play when I'm actively trying NOT to win. I bring it out when I've already won a couple games and want to bring down the power level. The theme is "every mono-white unicorn and pegasus" plus instants to protect them and artifacts that refill my hand.

The deck has won in a couple of two- and three-player games, but never in a four-player pod. I don't expect it to win. I just wanted a mono-white deck*, and this was the only theme I could think of that I would enjoy in mono-white.

*At the time I had a mono-green EDH deck, a Naya EDH deck, and a mono-red 60-card pauper deck. So I wanted to round out the Naya theme. I've since built other decks that threw off the theme a bit but I like my Pwnies deck enough to keep it. ^_^

@sapphire That's so pure. A deck you genuinely don't want to win with but still bring to the table anyway. I bet people love seeing the Pwnies come out after you've already stomped them twice.

What's your favorite unicorn/pegasus in the deck?

@GrimDeck Tasigur the Golden Fang.
I built it to just be quite literally just Sultai Battlecruiser with delve spells to filter the graveyard and give my opponents cruel choices.

@10leej Tasigur is perfect for that. Delve lets you sculpt the graveyard, then your opponents pick which spell you get back. The politicking is half the fun.

What's your favorite cruel choice to give people? I'm guessing it's never an easy one.
