@norootcause Can't say because notions of "practical" have shifted radically in my lifetime. Gonna say Neither cause my warrantee is about to expire.

@norootcause I voted for neither, but I can see some sort of path by which QC becomes practical for some situations. Technically I think fusion is already totally practical, it’s just we can’t switch the thing on and off, and solar panels really only collect a tiny proportion of the output.

@norootcause You needed to adjust for expected lifetime. My vote probably skews the results.

@norootcause I’m overly optimistic (both on the tech timelines and my own), but I voted for both.
